How to Create a Custom Ubuntu 12.04 LiveCD

Install squashfs-tools and genisoimage

I created a livecd on another partition because the / (root) partition is not enough. The partition must be of type ext.

Create a livecdtmp direktori directory

Create a mnt directory to mount the ubuntu iso

Mount iso ubuntu

Extract the ubuntu iso to the extract-cd folder folder

Here we can install/uninstall the application

After installing all the apps, clear the apt cache

Create md5 files

The final step is to create an iso file, don’t forget the dot at the end of the command

good luck
